Enneagram Typing & Exploration
The Enneagram is a practical tool for self-understanding, personal growth, and better relationships.
It’s a dynamic system that describes nine core personality types, each organized around distinct motivations and patterns of attention.
While many systems stop at traits and behaviors, the enneagram emphasizes what’s underneath. What gets our attention. What drives us. What shapes patterns in the way we make decisions, respond to challenges, and show up differently in different situations.
Understanding these patterns lets us see ourselves more clearly and with less judgment. Learning to observe them creates space for choice. We can decide when to lean in and when to try something different.
It’s not about your behaviors and traits. It’s about what’s underneath.
An informed outside perspective helps surface the patterns you might miss on your own.
Identifying your type can be tricky!
Two people with the same type can look very different from each other. Two people with different types can look extremely similar.
A structured interview with someone trained in the Enneagram can help surface the underlying patterns that point toward type.
My approach draws on over 20 years of studying the Enneagram, along with formal Narrative Enneagram training, including training specifically in typing interviews.
You know yourself best. My role is to bring an informed outside perspective and help you understand the Enneagram as you explore your type and begin using it as a tool for awareness and growth
How it Works
Session 1: Discover
(60-75 minutes)
After a brief introduction to the Enneagram, we’ll dive into a structured typing interview. You’ll leave with two or three types to explore, why I think they may fit, and which seems most likely.
Session 2: Understand
(45-60 minutes)
We’ll talk through what you discovered, refine your understanding of your type, and explore how its patterns show up in your life. We’ll identify one or two tendencies you want to pay closer attention to or work with.
Session 3: Apply
(Optional: 45-60 minutes)
We’ll build on what you’ve noticed since Session 2, explore any experiences of trying something different, and identify ways to continue putting what you’ve learned into practice. I recommend scheduling Session 3 about two weeks after Session 2, to give yourself time for reflection and experimentation.
I’ll provide resources, reflection worksheets, and simple observation or experimentation exercises to help you explore on your own
After each session:
Packages and Pricing
The package includes two sessions, with an optional third session focused on application and experimentation.
You can choose all three when you book, or decide after Session 2 that you’d like to add the third.
Two sessions (initial booking): $220
Three sessions (initial booking): $290
Add Session 3 later: $110

A Few Common Questions
-
Nope!
You don’t need any prior knowledge of the Enneagram, and there’s no need to take a test or do any other research before we begin.
I’ll give you the context you need during our sessions and provide resources for exploring further on your own.
-
Completely fine!
There are benefits to coming in with a “blank slate,” but if come in with a test result or a hunch about your type, that can be useful too.
We’ll treat it as one piece of information rather than a conclusion.
The interview gives us a chance to explore your patterns more deeply, bring another perspective to what you’ve already noticed, and increase your confidence in what fits.

That’s okay. Sometimes it takes time and real-life observation to figure out which type fits best. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of the possibilities, what to pay attention to, and resources to continue exploring on your own.
