ADHD
Project Support
Start a new project or goal, or get unstuck on a current one. We’ll use an ADHD lens to think, plan, troubleshoot, and move it forward together.
ADHDers rarely lack great ideas or good intentions. But making progress can be difficult.
Projects require many things that ADHD can make harder, sometimes painfully so: organizing multiple steps, making decisions, estimating time, and sustaining momentum or rebuilding it after a setback.
Independent projects, both personal and professional, can be especially challenging because they often lack the structure, deadlines, and accountability naturally built into work we do for others.
Perhaps most frustrating: These things can be true even if you know a great deal about ADHD and understand your own traits and symptoms.
Self-awareness can help you recognize why you’re stuck, but it doesn’t automatically create the structure, momentum, or support a particular project requires.
Having another person involved can help you sort through ideas, prioritize, create a workable plan, and stay on track. Depending on your needs and preferences, I may share relevant ADHD concepts, ask questions to clarify your thinking, help you map the work, or troubleshoot sticking points with you.
You stay in the driver’s seat. I’ll provide structure, perspective, and collaborative support as you move the project forward.
What Could We Work On?
The project can connect to any part of your life or work. Some possibilities include:
A professional, creative, or community project you’re struggling to begin or move forward
Something you’ve started repeatedly but haven’t been able to finish
A project complicated by overwhelm, perfectionism, conflict, or difficulty setting boundaries
Creating ADHD-friendly routines that save you time and exasperation
A household or personal project that keeps getting deprioritized
A move, event, or trip with tons of moving parts
An administrative backlog that’s become difficult to face
An idea that feels exciting but sprawling or difficult to organize
How it Works
Step 1: Project Fit Call
We’ll start with a free 15-minute call to discuss your project, what kind of support you’re looking for, and whether this service is a good fit. If it is, we’ll decide whether the three-session or six-session option makes the most sense.
Step 2: Materials & Scope
Sessions are flexible and practical. We’ll use our time for the mix of thinking, planning, troubleshooting, and focused work that will be most useful for your project. Some of the work will happen during our sessions, not only between them.
If a planning tool would help, I can offer simple templates for mapping the project, tracking tasks, or creating a timeline. These will use familiar, free tools such as Google Docs or Sheets, so you won’t need a new subscription or an elaborate new system.
Between Sessions
After revising, you may submit the same proposal for a focused review of the changes and priority issues identified in the original feedback. This is not a second comprehensive review and must be scheduled within 14 days of the initial debrief.
Packages and Pricing
Three Sessions: $375
A good fit for a defined project, one phase of a larger project, or a short-term goal.
Six Sessions: $700
A good fit for a more complex project or something that would benefit from sustained support through planning and implementation.
Sessions are 60 minutes and usually scheduled every week or every other week. Three-session packages must be completed within 10 weeks of the first session, and six-session packages within 16 weeks.
